On the one hand, Russian military superiority crushes Ukrainian air defense, with ballistic missiles recording an accuracy rate reaching 92%, wiping critical military and logistical infrastructure in the city of Odesa off the map.
On the other hand, Kyiv responds with an unprecedented massive attack, launching hundreds of drones deep into Russian territory, setting oil tankers on fire and sowing panic in residential areas.
Russian forces flatten Odtrans logistics center and military infrastructure at the port
Russian armed forces launched a fierce wave of attacks, flattening infrastructure of vital importance, as well as the facilities of the Odtrans logistics center within the commercial port of Odesa.
According to an official update from the Ministry of Defense of Russia, within the state commercial port of Odesa, the infrastructure for receiving military goods was completely destroyed, as well as the central facilities of the Odtrans transport company, which had exclusively undertaken the task of unloading, storing, and transporting military cargo for the needs of the front.
The Russian Ministry of Defense clarified that during the past night, group strikes were executed with attack drones and long-range high-precision weapons from the air.
The destructive result of these coordinated attacks was the flattening of port infrastructure both in Odesa and in Chernomorsk of the Odesa region.
These specific facilities constituted key nodes for the Ukrainian forces, as they served as warehouses for military material, fuel, and lubricants.
At the same time, Russian missiles struck with severity the marine vessels transporting the said ammunition toward Ukrainian ports.
Russian ballistic missiles flatten Ukraine with an accuracy rate reaching 92%
According to an eye-opening report by the El Pais newspaper, more than 92% of Russian ballistic missiles manage to penetrate every obstacle, reach their targets, and critically strike the facilities of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Experts warn that resolving this vital issue with air defense systems will require at least several months of hard effort from Kyiv.
The Spanish publication underlines that Ukraine still does not possess the required forces to face Russia.
It is indicative that during the last two massive attacks against Kyiv, on July 2 and 6, out of the 53 ballistic missiles used by Russian forces, 49 perfectly achieved their purpose, confirming the terrifying accuracy rate of 92%.
Analysts clear up that the tragic shortage of missiles for anti-aircraft systems is impossible to overcome in the short term.
Months and years of waiting for the life-saving Patriot systems
The USA industry is not in a position to produce an adequate number of products to replenish these stocks and, furthermore, Ukraine is no longer included among its immediate priorities, as characteristically stated by Ukrainian military expert Andriy Melnik.
According to Melnik, for the production of missiles for the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system under Kyiv's license, six months will be required in the best-case scenario.
Christian Villanueva, publisher of the military-political magazine Ejercitos, also pointed out that the production of Patriot systems is carried out in significantly smaller quantities than required.
He stressed that the problem is not located only in the missiles themselves, but in the entire system supporting the complex, namely the radars, vehicles, missile batteries, licenses, production lines, and many other factors, and noted that everything will depend on the USA export rules, licensing requirements, as well as the presence of Ukrainian experts in the USA, emphasizing that the solution to the Patriot problem for Ukraine will take many months.

The plan of Donald Trump and the harsh reality
On July 8, the President of the USA, Donald Trump, stated that Washington will transfer to Ukraine the license for the production of Patriot air defense systems, while he underlined at the same time that the USA will discuss the possibility of licensed production of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems in Europe.
Subsequently, the Reuters agency reported that interceptor missiles for the Patriot complexes could begin to be produced in Germany or some other European country, and after the end of the conflict, these enterprises will be transferred to Ukraine.
However, the head of the delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Summit and member of the Supreme Council, Yegor Chernev, abruptly brought down expectations, noting that the first Ukrainian interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense systems to be created with a USA license may appear in the country only after two or three years, confirming the previous warnings to Ukraine about the immense difficulties in missile production.
350 Ukrainian drones against Russia. oil tanker set on fire
The nightmarish scenery of full military escalation was completed with an unprecedented massive raid by Ukraine against Russia.
According to an official announcement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed last night a total of 349 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) over various regions of the Russian Federation, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, in an attempt by Kyiv to deliver a crushing blow to infrastructure of vital importance.
Flames at sea and a strike on an oil tanker
The most dramatic development of the night occurred in the Rostov region, where a Ukrainian drone managed to strike and engulf an oil tanker in flames.
As announced via Telegram by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar, the ship received the fierce attack at the time it was entering the channel of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
A fire broke out immediately on the vessel, which fortunately was quickly contained by rescue crews.
Yuri Slyusar rushed to clarify that the oil tanker was empty, a fact that prevented the nightmare of a massive oil spill, while fortunately there were no casualties among the crew.
According to him, during the night, more than twenty UAV were destroyed in the Rostov region, with enemy strikes targeting the cities of Taganrog and Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, the Taganrog Bay, as well as four more districts, Azov, Neklinovsky, Tarasovsky, and Millerovsky.

Nightmarish strikes on apartment buildings and the secret plan with "smart" drones
The wave of Ukrainian attacks spread its tentacles deep into Russian territory, reaching as far as the Tula region.
In the city of Shchekino, one of the enemy drones escaped air defense and crashed with force onto an apartment building, causing severe damage and sowing panic among the residents.
At the same time, chilling details come to light regarding the scope of the Ukrainian planning of blind strikes.
Just on July 10, Russian security forces managed to prevent a large-scale terrorist attack at the Rostov-Central military airfield in the Rostov region.
The Ukrainian special services had organized an operation using an entire "swarm" of drones, which possessed an automatic targeting system.
In fact, each participating Ukrainian drone possessed its own special color indication and a target-square for absolute accuracy in destruction.
The failure of this operation follows the recent announcements of the FSB, which spoke of a complete collapse of the unprecedented terrorist plans that Kyiv and the West are attempting to execute within Russian territory.
