Artificial intelligence opens a debate that until a few years ago seemed distant:
What will happen to tax revenues when more and more jobs and production processes are transferred to machines?
The concern right now is very great when considering where things are heading.
If an enterprise can produce more with fewer workers thanks to AI, then the tax base of labor gradually decreases, at a time when profits and productivity increase.
And right about here, the next big question arises:
Could artificial intelligence be taxed directly or indirectly?
Could there be a «robot tax» or some special levy on enterprises that replace human labor with AI systems?
