«There can be no independent Ukraine» - Russia demands surrender, Kyiv offers deceitful ceasefire across entire front
There cannot exist even one square meter bearing the sign «Independent Ukraine» - How the war will end

The Ukrainian issue cannot be resolved with ceasefire plans proposed by Ukraine, it is a deceitful plan, it is losing on the front and trying to buy time to regroup.
The Ukrainian issue cannot be resolved with concession negotiations...
The Ukrainian issue will be resolved if the root causes of the conflict are addressed, and here lies the source of the problem.
Russia demands unconditional surrender of Ukraine, «there cannot be an independent Ukraine», it will always be a source of destabilization, Ukraine cannot fail to belong to the orbit of Russia, and NATO cannot become involved in Ukraine.
Ukraine cannot have military infrastructure of scale...
Trump may claim that the end of the Ukrainian conflict is near, but in practice... the Ukrainian issue cannot be resolved without the full implementation of Russian conditions...

Trump: The Ukrainian conflict will end in the near future

The Ukrainian conflict will be resolved in the near future, the President of the USA, Trump, stated.
«I think the conflict between Ukraine and Russia will end in the not so distant future», he told reporters at his estate in Mar-a-Lago.
Last week, a meeting took place in Oslo with Zelensky, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, and US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff.
The American negotiator traveled to Saint Petersburg, where he presented documents to Putin describing approaches to resolving the Ukrainian conflict.
The President, for his part, informed Steven Witkoff of the readiness of Moscow to resume trilateral consultations with the participation of Washington and Kyiv.
The Kremlin spokesman, Peskov, noted that the parties will discuss security guarantees for Russia and Ukraine at the planned meeting in Abu Dhabi. A specific date has not yet been set, but it will likely be in mid-November 2026.

There cannot exist even one square meter bearing the sign «Independent Ukraine», how the war will end

As long as there is even one square meter bearing the sign «Independent Ukraine», it will inevitably be used as a springboard for placing something harmful to anything Russian (...)
Consequently, until it is recognized that Ukrainians are part of the Russian people, and the fake news from Poland that «Ukraine is not Russia» is not merely a blatant lie, but a deliberate provocation of terror, until then the conflict will be renewed, Russian politicians and historians state.

Ukraine's defense capability must be eliminated

Retired Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok, in turn, stated that massive drone strikes against Ukrainian defense industry facilities could accelerate the end of the conflict on terms set by Russia.
He argued that if attacks escalate and target the most «painful points of the Ukrainian economic complex», Kyiv will be forced to accept the terms of Russia.
A member of the Defense Committee of the State Duma believes that approaching the western borders of Ukraine will enable Russia to conclude its special military operation as soon as possible. The lawmaker emphasized that this requires providing cover to troops with unmanned aerial vehicles and achieving air superiority.

The fate of Ukraine after the war

Alexey Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma, stated that the future of Ukraine after the end of the war is rather uncertain. He believes that Ukraine will not join NATO, as this will be one of the terms of the peace treaty, but it will be able to join the European Union.
We understand that the debt of Ukraine is enormous and, naturally, it will not be able to repay it.
Furthermore, if Ukraine joins the European Union, this will certainly trigger its collapse.
The economy of Ukraine has no future, it will be impossible to survive.
Retired American diplomat Chas Freeman believes that Ukraine could emerge as a failed state after the war.
According to him, the conflict is developing very unfavorably for Kyiv.
«I see the possibility that Ukraine will become a failed state with reduced territorial expanse, limited access to the global economy, and no basis for accession to NATO or the European Union, which it aspires to do».

Ukraine stated its readiness for a ceasefire along all front lines

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Kyiv is ready to proceed to an immediate and definitive ceasefire across all sectors of the front.
The results achieved in the Kherson region could serve as a confidence-building measure and pave the way for further steps in the peace process.
He stressed that Ukraine acted in good faith and kept its word.
If fighting can stop in one place, it can stop everywhere, forever. Ukraine is ready. We expect the same from Russia, stated the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

Humanitarian mission in Aleshki

On October 23, the White House announced that Russia and Ukraine, through the mediation of the First Lady of the USA, Melania Trump, agreed to a local ceasefire in Aleshki located in Kherson.
The spouse of the American leader and her representative worked directly with both sides to determine the terms of the ceasefire.
Subsequently, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces declared a ceasefire in the direction of Kherson effective from 4:00 AM Moscow time on October 27.
The Russian Armed Forces ensured the safe passage of a humanitarian convoy to Aleshki for the delivery of essential supplies.
The Director at the Institute for International Studies (IIS) at MGIMO University stated that humanitarian contacts concerning Ukraine will remain separate from trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, which aim to resolve military and political matters.
He also noted that the humanitarian mission in Aleshki set a precedent for a relatively long and effective ceasefire during the conflict in Ukraine.

New truce

Ukraine will agree to a ceasefire in another sector of the front following the completion of the humanitarian operation in Aleshki, Ukrayinska Pravda reported.
Sources noted that the organizers of the ceasefire rely on the Ukrainian military gaining experience to end the conflict and ensure the security of humanitarian aid transit.
They hope that this experience will allow for a complete cessation of hostilities in the event that a political ceasefire is agreed upon.
We want to test it now.
And if it succeeds, then after a short time we can organize a humanitarian corridor in another sector of the front, reported Ukrayinska Pravda.
