Why Neuropublic of Gargalakos must be excluded from OPEKEPE and ACS Courier of Fessas from ELTA

Things are now clear: the OPEKEPE scandal was structured to allow cliques of fraudulent farmers to steal subsidies, along with swindlers in the corrupt ND government and, at times, accomplices from PASOK and SYRIZA.

The minimal compensation went to farmers who are understandably complaining because, simply, most farmers and livestock breeders are not fraudsters. However, the big party took place in the subsidies, where OPEKEPE is directly involved, an organization that constitutes a Mafia organization, completely corrupt, totally unreliable.

Ministers changed, Presidents and administrations at OPEKEPE changed, but only one company remained untouched: Neuropublic of Gargalakos. This company has direct involvement in the OPEKEPE fraud scandal, and for this reason, the company's contracts with OPEKEPE must be broken with summary procedures, and Neuropublic of Gargalakos should be excluded for life from any public sector project.

Neuropublic of Gargalakos is not a white dove but a vehicle of corruption, and as such, the government must show unrelenting severity. If it does not, OPEKEPE and Neuropublic of Gargalakos will continue to perpetuate the scandal, they will find other ways to deceive. This whole scheme is a poisonous abscess and must be broken. It is estimated that the theft amounts to $3.5 to 4 billion stolen from subsidies, and OPEKEPE and Neuropublic of Gargalakos cannot continue this collaboration of fraud and scandals.

ACS Courier of Fessas must be excluded from ELTA and ELTA's business

It is obvious that the failure of ELTA as a business model is also attributed to a realization that deserves attention. A total of 300 million euros was given by the European Union to support ELTA along with the capital increase due to a chaotic capital deficit.

It should be noted that 150 million euros have been given to strengthen the universal service obligation of the Postal Service, as ELTA also covers thousands of villages in the provinces where the activity is obviously not profitable. However, ELTA has a role as a state-owned company since its main shareholder is the Hellenic Superfund. So, the state covers this loss.

However, ELTA has made a mistake, or the state has made a mistake focusing on ELTA, it used the Hellenic Post as a means to comfortably place, based on party criteria, over 1,800 to 2,200 employees who continue to have low productivity, meaning they were comfortably settled and became complacent. Obviously, staff reduction must take place, and obviously, stores must close, but the mechanism of the universal service obligation of the Postal Service must be maintained for all of Greece, and especially the province.

Certain administrations were incompetent and obviously perpetuated the serious financial problems of ELTA. The province needs ELTA more than the Courier companies that pretend to support the mechanism of the universal service obligation of the Postal Service. ACS Courier of Fessas has often in the past coveted ELTA and has made unacceptable complaints against ELTA in Europe, so this company, ACS Courier of Fessas, should be excluded from any future project related to the operation or work of ELTA.

Conclusion

The Greek state cannot show tolerance for the corrupt and fraudsters in the case of OPEKEPE or for companies like ACS Courier of Fessas that simply sabotage the universal service obligation mechanism of the Postal Service and more. At some point, we must prioritize the overall good, the nation, and social welfare against the rodents that undermine the interests of Greeks.
