Trump’s relations with Mitsotakis are tragic and with Putin hostile – Greek foreign policy deserves an award for failure
Putin is a leader for Russia, Erdogan is a leader for Turkey, Trump is a leader for the United States… Mitsotakis is simply the prime minister of Greece.

Historically, Greece maintained good relations with the United States because of NATO and the importance the U.S. holds as a military and economic superpower.
Historically, Greece also maintained good relations with Russia, one of the few countries that are Orthodox Christian and, obviously, today represents the strongest military power in the world, while also being a leader in the energy sector.

Trump’s relations with Mitsotakis are tragic and with Putin hostile.

Recently, when Mitsotakis, the Greek prime minister, went to the United States and among other things had a courtesy meeting with TrumpTrump was heard saying “who is this guy?”
He also emphasized that he dislikes two political leaders of states, and according to certain American media, one of them is Mitsotakis.
This is mockery, humiliation, when Greece hosts so many U.S. military bases on its soil.
Obviously, everyone remembers that an insignificant politician in terms of international influence, Mitsotakis, mocked Trump and had aligned himself with Biden and Kamala Harris.
Trade exchanges with the U.S. are not large-scale, but the cooperation on a military level is of unprecedented scale.
The Greek army mistakenly relies on American weapons which have proven inadequate for the circumstances, it is insufficiently trained, and its 185,000 soldiers do not constitute a battle-ready force.
Greece is among the weakest states militarily… the war in Ukraine proved that a country must manufacture weapons and be self-sufficient, and in that sector Greece has failed miserably.
At the same time, the Greek government and especially Mitsotakis have hostile relations with Russia.
Putin is a leader for Russia, Erdogan is a leader for Turkey, Trump is a leader for the United StatesMitsotakis is simply the prime minister of Greece.
What this means is that vision is absent.
Seventy-five percent of Greeks in the war in Ukraine side with Russia against the official government line; Russia, in the war in Ukraine, is on the right side of history… Greece is integrated into the chariot of the willing or the foolish countries or the warmongers.

Greek foreign policy is in shambles…

Greece suffers from a serious lack of strategy in its foreign policy.
Mediocre politicians lead a crucial ministry, incapable of achieving even the bare minimum.
This is the harsh reality.
The Greek state simply belongs to the European Union, but even so, as a nation, we have been humiliated… they lent Greece 260 billion, imposing three memoranda, and gave Ukraine almost 180 billion euros as aid.
This is Europe today – the Brussels clique follows strategies… all wrong and leading to a dead end.
