Greece, before every opportunity is lost, must restore relations with Russia, distancing itself from the hysteria of Brussels and the European Parliament.
"Greece belongs to the West" was the slogan in the past and it was correct.
After the Second World War, the defeat of Germany, which had the strongest military machine with 18,500,000 soldiers (Russia today, with the strongest army, has 1,400,000 soldiers), allowed the USA to declare itself the leading power of the planet.
The dollar, economic and military power allowed the USA to dominate, the American economy today corresponds to 41% of global wealth.
Years passed and the leading power rested on its laurels, and reaching the present day the world is changing, globalization was partially unsuccessful, it brought some good things but also many rotten ones to the surface.
The Russian President Putin spoke of multipolarity and this trend is a fact, it is irreversible due to Russia and China.
China is economically stronger than Russia by almost 10 times, China is approaching USA GDP with incredible speed and Russia has surpassed the USA militarily.
The right side of history
In the Ukrainian issue Russia is 100% right, not 99% but 100%.
The Greek people, right or left, are Russophile at a rate of 78% according to opinion polls.
It is wrong, the comparison attempted by certain foolish individuals, the comparison between the Ukrainian issue and the Cypriot one.
The events in Ukraine began in 2014 with Maidan and the USA coup and of course with the provocatively unacceptable tactic of NATO moving eastward approaching Russia.
Russia in the Ukrainian issue is not the attacker but the defender against a NATO that views Russia as an opponent, NATO reached the borders of Russia and not Russia the borders of NATO.
Greece must immediately restore relations with Russia
The Greek government, dragged by Europe’s anti-Russian hysteria, maintains a hostile stance toward Russia and supports the corrupt regime of the Zelensky government.
The Greek government comes into complete opposition with the majority of Greeks who have a positive attitude toward Russia.
Certain government politicians, such as Bakoyannis, offer no national service, obsessive and unhistorical, most politicians ignore even the religion that unites us, Greece and Russia are among the few Orthodox Christian states, and this should unite, not divide.
Greece, before every opportunity is lost, must restore relations with Russia, distancing itself from the hysteria of Brussels and the European Parliament.
Greece offers no national service when it makes a deal with the USA for liquefied natural gas, when Russian gas is 2.5 times cheaper.
Russia has something that everyone wants, cheap energy, and sooner or later the logic of market forces will simply find a way to bring Russian energy back to the forefront even if it carries another disguise, for example today India, tomorrow USA.
Even the Americans know that American LNG is not competitive against Russia.
Conclusion
We are with Russia as a Greek people and we are on the right side of history in the Ukrainian issue, the Russians are right.
Sooner or later logic will prevail.
