Trump brinkmanship accelerates with 1,000-missile threat as July 11-12 nuclear talks with Iran loom
CNN: Iran rebuilds its nuclear facilities - US and Iran technical teams to meet in Pakistan on July 11 and 12, 2026

While US negotiations with Iran resume on July 11 and 12, 2026 in Islamabad, Pakistan, the flip-flops of Trump are unprecedented.

On the one hand, he gives a 24-hour ultimatum for Iran to announce that Hormuz is open for the passage of ships, and on the other hand, he argues that he wants to continue the dialogue, which he claims is not requested by himself but by the Iranians.

At the same time, Trump announces that 1,000 missiles are targeting Iran and will level it if Iranians attempt to assassinate him.

Of course, ultimatums and 1,000 missiles are part of Trump's extreme flip-flops aimed at exerting maximum pressure on Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran is rebuilding its nuclear facilities, American media outlets report.

According to Al Jazeera, there is a possibility of a high-level meeting between Iran and the US soon.

Trump: 1,000 missiles will strike Iran if they attempt to assassinate me

If an assassination attempt is made against the US President Trump, 1,000 missiles will strike Iran.

According to the American leader, they are already on alert and targeting the Islamic Republic.

He wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.

"One thousand missiles are on full alert targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran, and thousands more will follow if the Iranian government carries out its threat, which has been expressed in many corners of the world, to kill or attempt to assassinate the sitting president of the United States of America," Trump wrote.

He added that the American military has already received the corresponding orders and is ready to destroy Iran if necessary.

Trump had previously stated that he had left instructions for the administration to "bomb" Iran if the Islamic Republic attempts to assassinate him.

CNN: Iran rebuilds its nuclear facilities

A senior American official warned that the Trump administration believes that reaching a nuclear deal with Iran is increasingly unlikely.

If we do not reach an agreement on the nuclear program, we will not have a deal with Iran, the Americans argue, while at the same time CNN claims that Iran is rebuilding its nuclear facilities.

US: Iranians say extremists in Iran are sabotaging peace, they made a mistake striking the ships in Hormuz - Iran denies

Senior American officials told CBS that Iranian officials told Trump's advisors that they made a mistake by firing on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The attacks were caused by a "deviant" sect of extremists trying to undermine negotiations, while officially Iran wants the negotiations to continue.

The Iranian authorities, however, deny these reports as fantasies.

Trump ultimatum on the nuclear issue and Hormuz, which remains open

Axios, citing American officials, emphasized that President Trump has given the negotiation team with Iran limited time and leeway to reach a nuclear deal.

Plans are underway regarding Trump's options in case a nuclear deal is not achieved.

However, Fox News emphasizes that, contrary to US claims, ships are passing through Iran's designated route.

The US Naval Forces Central Command announced that the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz remains open and has been expanded.

According to the US, other routes are not protected.

On July 10, 2026, a total of 22 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz.

Only 1 ship passed through the Oman route, and most of them (21 ships) chose the route designated by Iran.

24-hour Trump ultimatum to Iran - Request for a written commitment from Iran not to strike ships in Hormuz

Axios claims that the United States gave Iran 24 hours to publicly declare that the Strait of Hormuz is open to everyone and to stop attacking ships. Otherwise, it will face serious consequences.

The Reuters news agency reported, citing American officials, that the United States demanded that Tehran issue an official and public statement committing to a full cessation of any gunfire and attacks on ships and vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

Axios also claims that the United States gave Iran 24 hours to publicly declare that the Strait of Hormuz is open to everyone and to stop attacking ships.

Also, the Reuters news agency cited officials in the United States who claimed:

"If Washington and the inspectors cannot have access to the samples and the nuclear dust at the sites they intend, practically no agreement will be achieved with Iran."

Strange Trump claim: They asked for negotiations, we have informed them that the ceasefire has expired!

Trump claimed that the Islamic Republic of Iran asked us to continue "negotiations".

The American president in his latest post wrote:

"We agreed to this request, but the United States announced to them clearly and categorically that the ceasefire is over!".

US and Iran technical teams to meet in Pakistan on July 11 and 12, 2026

Based on Al Arabiya, US and Iran technical teams will meet in Pakistan on July 11 and 12, 2026.

Efforts by mediators to avoid a repetition of the conflicts of recent days and to hold a meeting between the two sides aimed at continuing negotiations have intensified.

The Minister of Interior of Pakistan will depart soon for Tehran, Iran, planning to hold a telephone communication between Iran, US, Pakistan, and Qatar in the coming days.

According to Kan, the US asked Israel to refrain from executing unusual operations in Lebanon until the escalation of tensions with Iran is clarified. Al Jazeera's Noureddine Al-Daghir wrote: There is a possibility of a meeting between Iran and the United States, the location of which has not yet been determined (Geneva, Islamabad, or Doha).

Abbas Araghchi (Iran Foreign Minister): We accuse the US of violating the 9th clause of the Memorandum of Understanding

The United States violated the 9th clause of the memorandum of agreement between the US and Iran, stated the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"Iran has kept its word so far—unlike the so-called US Secretary of the Treasury, who violates Article 9 of the memorandum of understanding.

This violation comes after other violations and mistakes by the United States," he wrote on social media.

The minister emphasized that the agreement can only be kept by both sides.

In mid-June, the US and Iran signed a memorandum providing for the termination of the military conflict.

However, on the night of July 8, the United States resumed the bombings.

According to President Trump, this was a response to Iran's actions against commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran called Washington's aggression a serious violation of the agreements reached.

Qalibaf (Iran): Only whoever is ready for war can negotiate with the US

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, President of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasized: We have never sought war, the Iranian nation will never surrender to oppression.

"Before the recent war, America, the Zionist regime, and NATO believed that they could force Iran to surrender in less than a few days, but they soon realized that they would not achieve their goals, and the world saw that they failed in achieving their goals against Iran.

The economic, political, and media pressures exerted by the US and their regime made them desperate, and that is why the Americans sought a ceasefire."

Qalibaf, stating that we do not trust the Americans, emphasized:

During the negotiations, I explained to the US Vice President that we do not trust you at all.

In my view, only those who are ready for war can negotiate with the US.

Therefore, we have never stopped preparing for the defense of our country, and every time the Americans betray the agreement, we are ready for full defense and we will stand firmly against them and defend the rights of the Iranian nation.

Of course, ending the war is a priority for the countries of the world, but everyone must know that this conflict will never end with the surrender of Iran.

Qalibaf noted: I believe that Muslim nations and countries must realize that they must resist America and the Zionist regime, and the experience of the Islamic Republic of Iran has shown that success can be achieved.

The United Arab Emirates becomes part of the problem

Kazem Gharibabadi, Deputy Minister for Legal and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, wrote in a message on the social network X:

"The US Department of Commerce published a new document: facilitation of export control regulations and upgrade of the export status in the United Arab Emirates in recognition of their support for the military aggression against Iran."

"This official admission by Washington and the scandalous document of the United Arab Emirates carry international responsibility and direct legal implications.

The United Arab Emirates must be held accountable."

Baghaei (Iran) - We monitor everything, we know every move on land, air, sea

Continuous is the vigilance of the armed forces of Iran at the borders of the country.

Esmail Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, positioned himself through the platform X regarding the threats the country faces, underlining the role of the armed forces in protecting the territory.

According to Esmail Baghaei, during the summer months, the security forces and the defenders of the country in the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran maintain increased readiness and closely monitor movements on the coasts, islands, borders, and other sensitive points of the territory, operating as guarantors of the security and stability of Iran.

The spokesman addressed a greeting to all military personnel and forces that have undertaken the responsibility of protecting the country, pointing out the importance of their work.

Esmail Baghaei noted that the Iranian people recognize the efforts, persistence, and sacrifices of the armed forces, expressing satisfaction with their presence and operational strength in the field, while concluding with wishes for the support of their work, emphasizing toward any hostile direction. "let them come, they will be crushed again."
