On the political front opened around DATAMED, Adonis Georgiadis attempts to put an end to the debate regarding allegations of €9 million contract awards.
The Minister of Health provides detailed amounts and distinct contract categories, arguing that the total contractual amount from 2020 to date stands at €4,830,566.44 rather than the €9 million reported.
In his post, he distinguishes contracts from the Ministry of National Defense, seven public hospitals, central contracts with IDIKA (e-Government Center for Social Security), and independent healthcare bodies. He makes special reference to a €1.528 million contract, pointing out that DATAMED's share in the corporate consortium is 41%, meaning the attributed contractual value is €626,529.20.
Georgiadis's message is clear: «count real amounts, not impressions».
