Nikos Kotzias turns his attention to the American elections and the messages of the ballot box, seeking parallels with the domestic political scene.
The former Foreign Minister spoke of a defeat of the oligarchs and the policy choices of Donald Trump, attaching particular significance to the participation of youth and the alliance of progressive forces, middle classes, and sections of the working class.
In his post, he also singled out high prices, everyday problems, corruption, and social inequalities as factors that, in his assessment, determined the outcome.
The interest, however, lies in the political continuation: Kotzias states that developments gave him courage for the «unifying plan» that he supports, announcing two articles to present it.
The question is whether he will find corresponding interlocutors on the Greek political scene as well.
